Booking and Stay Terms & Conditions
Casa Mirasol and Casita Mirasol · Last updated: 14 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern booking and staying at Casa Mirasol and Casita Mirasol, made through direct booking on our website. By completing a booking, you accept them in full.

3. How booking works
- Choose the property and dates directly on the site.
- The system automatically checks availability in real time.
- The total price, including any additional costs, is always shown before payment.
- Payment is made by the method you choose (section 4): immediately, or — if arrival is more than 30 days away and you pay by card — on the date we tell you before you book.
- The contract is formed: with a card paid immediately, at the moment the payment is complete; with a card saved for a later charge, at the moment the card is successfully saved and you receive our registration email; with a bank transfer, when the credit is verified.
4. Payment methods
You may pay in one of two ways, chosen when you book: by card, or by bank transfer.
Card
Card payments are processed securely by SumUp. SumUp supports various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, without Mirasol accessing or storing card data. Mirasol does not store, process or retain any payment card data: all transactions are handled by SumUp as an independent controller for payment operations.
When you save a card for a later charge, the card data stays with SumUp: all we are given is a code that allows us to request that single charge. Card numbers never pass through our systems.
- Arrival more than 30 days away: the card is not charged when you book. You save the card and the charge is made on the date we tell you, which is the first day the booking is no longer refundable (section 7). Until that day you can cancel free of charge and nothing is charged to you.
- Card check: when the card is saved, a verification charge of €1 is made and refunded immediately. Some banks may continue to show it for a few days.
- If the charge fails: we tell you at once by email, with a link to pay by card and the bank details for a transfer, and we try the charge again the following day. If the second attempt fails too, the booking lapses and the dates are released, with nothing charged to you.
- Arrival within 30 days: payment is made immediately, at the time of booking, and confirmation is immediate.
- Confirmation: immediate when you pay straight away; on saving the card in the other cases.
Bank transfer
When you finish booking we show you the bank details, the amount and the code to use as the payment reference, and we also send them to you by email.
- Deadline: the transfer must be credited within two working days of the booking. You are given the deadline as a specific date.
- Dates held: until that deadline the dates you chose are held for you.
- Confirmation: the booking is confirmed once the credit is verified, and we tell you by email. Until then it is not confirmed.
- If the money does not arrive: if the transfer has not been credited by the deadline, the dates are released and the booking lapses, with nothing charged to you.
- Payment reference: quote the booking code. Without it the credit may not be matched in time.
- We recommend an instant transfer: an ordinary transfer can take several days and may not arrive in time.
- Costs: no additional cost from us. Any fees charged by your own bank are yours to bear.
Currency: euro (EUR) for both methods.
5. Discounts and promotions
We may apply a discount to longer stays. The thresholds and the size of the discount are set by us and may change over time and from one property to the other: the discount, where applicable to your dates, is calculated and shown automatically at the time of booking, before payment.
We may also offer, from time to time, time-limited promotions. The conditions of each promotion are set by us at our discretion: the stay periods concerned, the minimum number of nights, the deadline for booking, the percentage, and the properties it applies to. We may change, suspend or withdraw them at any time. A promotion applies only to bookings made by the stated deadline that meet all of its conditions; it cannot be applied retroactively to bookings already confirmed.
We may also issue discount codes, to be used at the time of booking. Each code has a maximum number of uses and an expiry date set by us, and may be withdrawn at any time: a code that has expired, has been used up or is no longer valid gives no right to a discount. The code must be entered before payment and cannot be applied to a booking already confirmed.
The long-stay discount and promotions cannot be combined with each other: where a stay qualifies for both, the more favourable is applied. A discount code, by contrast, is added to any discount already applied and is calculated on the booking total. No discount may reduce the total below zero, and none gives rise to a residual credit. Whatever their origin, the discounts applied are always shown in the price summary before payment.
6. Receipts
We do not issue an invoice automatically, as we do not offer hotel-type services. On request, however, we provide a receipt for the payment received.
7. Cancellation by you
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before the arrival date: full refund.
- Beyond this deadline, the booking is non-refundable.
- No-show: treated as a late cancellation, no refund.
Refunds are made by the same means used for the payment: to the card through SumUp, or by transfer to the account the payment came from. Usually within 14 days of cancellation.
Where we need your bank details in order to refund you, we accept them only from the same email address or telephone number you used to make the booking.
If your booking is paid by a later card charge (section 4) and you cancel before the charge date, nothing is charged to you: there is therefore no refund to make.
8. Changing your booking
You can ask us to move the dates of your stay by writing to us: there is no fixed deadline for doing so.
Each request is considered individually and can only be granted if the new dates are available and on equivalent terms, both in number of nights and in amount. If the new dates cost more, the difference is payable by you; if they cost less, any partial refund of the difference remains at our discretion.
Granting the request remains at our discretion and is not guaranteed. If we cannot grant it, the cancellation conditions set out in point 7 continue to apply.
9. Cancellation or changes by us
The system automatically checks availability. The owner reserves the right to contact the guest in the event of anomalies, technical errors, overbooking or exceptional operational needs. In these cases, we will offer you a full refund or, where possible, an equivalent alternative accommodation.
10. Damage and liability
You are responsible for any damage caused to the property or furnishings during your stay. We do not require a security deposit at the time of booking: any damage will be agreed directly with you after check-out.
11. Force majeure
Neither Mirasol nor the guest is liable for the failure to perform contractual obligations due to unforeseeable events beyond their control (e.g. natural disasters, orders from the authorities, serious transport disruptions). In these cases, we will find a solution together: postponement of the stay or a refund.
12. House rules

- Check-out: by 11:00 am.

13. Identity document and registration with the authorities

16. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. 18. Data protection
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
